Springtime is my favorite season in Texas. The bluebonnets blooming, the almost-perfect warm weather, even the thunderstorms bring a sense of solitude and peace. Celebrating Easter and spending time outside with the family is the best-- minus the seasonal allergy nonsense, which seems to be almost year-round, regardless of the season. I hope you're soaking up the beautiful weather wherever you are! It's also the perfect time of year to grab a show, grab some dinner and maybe even grab a pint after the show with some friends! Here are the updates for shows this month!
Mainstage Irving/Las Colinas: After just closing Sherwood, Mainstage is in rehearsal for Enchanted April, which will open on May 6th. There are no auditions at this time.
Upright Theatre, Euless: Present Laughter opens in just 3 days! Performances take place at the Upright Studio in Euless and run April 8-30th with Friday and Saturday showings at 7:30pm and Sunday showings at 3pm. Tickets are $10, appropriate for ages 14 and up. Artisan Center Theater, Hurst: The Secret Garden is currently running until April 30th, so grab your seats! Thursday, Friday and Saturday showings are at 7:30pm, with an additional performance time on Saturdays at 3pm. Tickets are $15-30 and this show is appropriate for all ages!

Richardson Theatre Center: Present Laughter continues to run through April 10th. Only one weekend left, so hurry!!
No Auditions at this time, but they are currently seeking a Stage Manager for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Stage Manager will receive a $350 stipend.

Garland Civic Theatre: Wait Until Dark opens April 29th and runs until May 15th. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30pm. Tickets are $20. This mystery/thriller is most likely appropriate for ages 14 and up.
