Audiences will also meet friends searching for their place in a changing world, and couples who aren't even sure what place they're in anymore. In Geography, place is defined as a setting’s physical and human characteristics, but it’s so much more. It' s a memory, a possibility, an adventure. It's a sense of belonging and knowing you're welcome as you are. Place is a vital component in life, and Runway Theatre will investigate this concept in so many ways.
The six-production season begins September 30, 2022 with the comedic thriller To Die For by Caroline Smith, directed by Emily-Ann Moriarty-Phillips, which runs through October 16, 2022. For the holiday season, audiences will return to the tiniest town in Texas with A Doublewide, Texas Christmas by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten – directed by Kenny Green – running November 25, 2022 through December 11, 2022. The new year will start with Beer for Breakfast by Sean Grennan, directed by Kevin Small. This laugh-out-loud comedy runs January 27th through February 12, 2023. About Runway Theatre:
The End of the Runway Players (ERP) was created in 1983 when a small group established a community theatre in Grapevine, Texas. They mounted their first full season in 1985 and became a nonprofit organization, establishing Runway Theatre in its first permanent home on Dooley Street. Eleven years later the theatre was destroyed in a tragic fire. With the community’s support, Runway rebuilt and has since produced hundreds of plays and musicals. Though dark for sixteen months during the COVID-19 pandemic, the theatre reopened in late summer of 2021 and remains dedicated to producing entertaining live theatre in a welcoming home.
