Audition Notice The Adventures of Tom Sawyer Co-Directed by: Sandy Edwards & Janis Arthur   Theatre Coppell presents The Adventures of Tom Sawyer based on the book by Mark Twain and adapted for the stage by Robert Batson. Written in 1876, this book about a boy growing up along the Mississippi River is one of Mark Twain’s best-loved and most quoted works. In this adaptation of a legendary tale, all of the major adventures of Tom and his friends are brought to the stage. The fun and adventure are non-stop in this unforgettable family favorite. Children can enjoy the adventure story, and adults can appreciate the satire.       Audition Dates   *(Attend either evening)*     Monday, February 27th @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM       Tuesday, February 28th @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM       : ***    Audition Details        Sign up at this link      (https://forms.gle/LGmoYWHnberu9ApV8)     or direct inquiries to info@TheatreCoppell.com       ***   Open auditions     All are encouraged to audition, regardless of prior theatrical   experience!     Auditions consist of readings from the script (sides will be available at   auditions -- not in advance)     ***   Roles        Tom Sawyer ‐ (Male: age 12‐15): A mischievous boy with an   active imagination who spends most of the show getting himself,   and often his friends, into and out of trouble.      Huckleberry Finn ‐ (Male: age 12‐15): Tom’s friend who often   gets into trouble.      Becky Thatcher - (Female: age 12-15): Tom’s girlfriend      Cousin Sid - (Male: age 10-14): Younger half-brother of Tom      Cousin Mary - (Female: age 11-15): Cousin of Tom and Sid      Joe Harper - (Male: age 11-15): Tom’s typical best friend      Ben Rogers - (Male: age 10-15): Friend of Tom      Jim Barlowe - (Male: age 10-15): Friend of Tom      Billy Fisher - (Male: age 10-15): Friend of Tom      Johnny Miller - (Male: age 10-15): Friend of Tom      Amy Lawrence - (Female: age 11-15): Friend of Becky      Gracie Miller - (Female: age 11-15): Friend of Becky      Peggy Sue Whitaker - (Female: age 11-15): Friend of Becky      Sarah Clemons - (Female: age 11-15): Friend of Becky       **Tech/crew volunteers are also needed: email if interested.     Rehearsals     Rehearsals will begin March 6 through April 6;   weeknights (Mon. Tues. Thurs.
