Location: Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 N. Dallas Parkway, Frisco, TX 75034 at southeast corner of Cotton Gin Road and Dallas North Tollway
Rehearsals will be Monday – Thursday weeknights 7 – 10 pm and weekends (either Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons) Tech week is Sunday July 21 – 25. No conflicts allowed during Tech week or Performance dates.
Be prepared to list all conflicts on weeknights and weekends.

Synopsis:
Set in a 1930s European perfumery, we meet shop clerks Amalia and Georg, who, more often than not, don’t see eye to eye. After both respond to a “lonely hearts advertisement” in the newspaper, they now live for the love letters that they exchange, but the identity of their admirers remains unknown. Join Amalia and Georg to discover the identity of their true loves.

Arpad Laszlo - Delivery boy at Maraczek's. His exuberance is infectious and commitment to his job remarkable. He is ambitious and adorable. Should look like a teenager. Vocal range top: E4 Vocal range bottom: Bb2
Ladislav Sipos - Not the brightest employee at Maraczek's. A confidant to Georg, he is an optimistic family man who looks like a huggable father. Age range/Look: 40s and up. Vocal range top: E4 Vocal range bottom: A2
Ilona Ritter - Employed at Maraczek'se. She is sexy and learned in the ways of romance, but longing for something more from the game of love. Age range/Look: 20s-30s Vocal range top: E5 Vocal range bottom: F#3
Steven Kodaly - A well respected and liked employee at Maraczek's. Though he is considered dapper and occasionally charming, he is more of a shallow womanizer. Age range/Look: 20s – 30s Vocal range top: A4
Vocal range bottom: B2
Georg Nowack - An established employee of Maraczek's, resembles a hopeless romantic. Shy, intelligent, and soft spoken. Age range/Look: 20s-30s Vocal range top: F4 Vocal range bottom: B2
Mr. Maraczek - Owner of Maraczek's Parfumerie. With a commanding presence, his dedication to the trade is rivaled only by his faithfulness to his wife. Age range/Look: 50s and up Vocal range top: C4 Vocal range bottom: B2
Amalia Balash - The eager new employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Despite being a skilled saleswoman, she easily becomes intimated and nervous. Attractive, bright, and a lover of literature. Age range/Look: 20s-30s Vocal range top: B5 Vocal range bottom: C4
Ensemble - 6 – 8 actors, Male and Female presenting. Play Shoppers, Busboy, Restaurant Patrons, Carolers
Cast members will receive a $300 stipend.
