ACCLAIMED COMEDIAN JAMIE CAMPBELL BRINGS BIG LAUGHS
TO INTIMATE DALLAS VENUE NOVEMBER 7TH.
DALLAS, TX - Critically-acclaimed comedian Jamie Campbell has spent the past decade touring all over the United States, collecting awards and gaining fans in the process. This middle-aged ball of positive energy isn’t a household name, but seems poised to break through in a big way.
Earlier this year, he recorded a special for Dry Bar Comedy - a skyrocketing production company that has launched big names such as Leanne Morgan and Brad Upton and helped notable comics reach new audiences, such as Adam Carolla and Kevin Farley. His special, tentatively titled Middle Man, is expected to be released sometime within the next year.
Campbell has previously had an album, Tell Me You’re Proud of Me, reach #1 on the comedy charts and last year, his independent special, Big Dad Energy was named 2024’s “Best Stand-Up Special” by Laugh After Dark.
On November 7th, Jamie Campbell headlines the intimate venue The Devil’s Back Porch, an eclectic speakeasy in Trinity Groves, above Saint Rocco’s. Dallas standouts Mike Lukas and Angela Owen will deliver opening sets.
Jamie Campbell’s act is chock-full of stories, anecdotes, and hilarious observations that will hit particularly hard with Gen-Xers and elder Millennials. The indie publication Blood Makes Noise called him “One of the most compelling voices in stand-up today.”
When he is not on tour, Jamie is busy acting in a string of indie films and commercials. He is one of the stars of Gingerbread Men, an upcoming family Christmas comedy that will hit theaters later this year. If his face looks familiar, chances are you recognize him from appearances on NBC’s Chicago Fire, Pop TV’s Hollywood Darlings, or the Emmy-winning Super Bowl ad he starred in alongside Kristin Chenoweth.
"As a Gen-X mother of two...Jamie Campbell's jokes hit dead center...goes toe-to-toe with the best comedians in the business!" - Natalie Shaw, Dallas Theatre Journal
“Quick wit & inventive riffing . . . uplifting humor & big laughs!” - Teme Ring, Comedians Defying Gravity
“Bombastic genius!” - Dan Telfer of Mad Magazine and Comedy Central
