ECHO THEATRE REVIVES COMBINED GENERAL AUDITIONS FOR DALLAS-AREA THEATRE ARTISTS, DECEMBER 6, 2025
Echo Theatre will host Combined General Auditions on Saturday, December 6, 2025, 9:30 a.m.–3:00
p.m. at the Bath House Cultural Center (521 E. Lawther Drive, Dallas, TX 75218). The event gives actors
the chance to be seen by multiple Dallas-area theatres in a single audition, and invites local companies
that compensate performers to scout talent and build their casting pools.
ACTORS
Actors should prepare a 60-second monologue. Each actor will present their piece for the room, and
representatives from participating companies may give one or two directions to see how the actor works.
To make this work easier, actors are asked to bring a printed copy of their monologue. Actors can find full
instructions and submit headshots and résumés at:
https://www.echotheatre.org/generalauditions
(Registered actors will receive an audition time within the 9:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. window.)
PRODUCERS / THEATRES
Echo Theatre invites Dallas-area theatres and producers that pay actors to send representatives to
participate in the auditions. This shared audition day is intended to help companies see more talent at
once and build relationships across the community.
Details for theatres are at:

Dallas theatre icon Jac Alder (Theatre Three) began hosting combined auditions more than 20 years ago.
The event was later streamlined and moved to the Bath House Cultural Center, where Liz Ware helped
organize an open, community-wide day that connected actors and producers across companies.
New Echo Producer Liz Ware is organizing this event in 2025, aiming to create a welcoming space where
the theatre community can meet, collaborate, and discover new artists.
