Shakespeare Dallas Announces 2026 Season!


Dallas, Texas – January 20, 2026 – Shakespeare Dallas is excited to announce the 2026 Shakespeare in the Park season: The Merry Wives of Windsor and Alice in Wonderland will run concurrently this summer as part of the 54th Shakespeare in the Park summer festival followed by Titus Andronicus in the fall. Subscription packages are now available: three tickets (one for each show) for just $55 (just $18 per show), six tickets for $105, or 12 tickets for $200. Subscriber benefits include early entry to the park and preferred seating. 

The 2026 Season includes: 


The Merry Wives of Windsor directed by Jenni Stewart. In this Shakespearean comedy, Falstaff decides to fix his financial woe by seducing the wives of two wealthy merchants. The wives find he sent them identical letters and take revenge by playing tricks on Falstaff when he comes calling. With the help of their husbands and friends, the wives play one last trick in the woods to put Falstaff's mischief to an end. Merry Wives of Windsor runs Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday June 12 - July 19, 2026.


Alice in Wonderland directed by Natalie Young. Alice in Wonderland follows a curious young girl named Alice who tumbles down a rabbit hole into a whimsical and nonsensical world. In Wonderland, she encounters peculiar characters like the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts. As she navigates bizarre logic, shifting rules, and surreal adventures, Alice struggles to make sense of this topsy-turvy place. Ultimately, her journey becomes a playful exploration of identity, imagination, and growing up—before she finally awakens to discover it was all a dream. Alice in Wonderland runs Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday June 19 - July 17, 2026. This will be grown up Alice in wonderland and will probably be rated PG13


Titus Andronicus directed by Dr. Danielle Georgiou. In this intense tragedy by William Shakespeare, Roman general Titus Andronicus returns from war with four prisoners who vow to take revenge against him. They rape and mutilate Titus' daughter and have his sons killed and banished. Titus kills two of them and cooks them into a pie, which he serves to their mother before killing her too. The Roman emperor kills Titus, and Titus' last remaining son kills the emperor and takes his place. Titus Andronicus runs Thursday-Sunday September 18-October 18, 2026.


Summer entry is at 7:45 pm with an 8:30 pm curtain. Fall entry is at 7:30 pm with an 8:00 pm curtain. All three shows will take place outdoors at the Samuell-Grand Amphitheater (1500 Tenison Parkway Dallas, TX). Picnicking is encouraged and beer and wine is allowed. 


Shakespeare Dallas now offers Membership that includes access to all Shakespeare in the Park shows, discounts on additional programming, tickets to Shakespeare in the Round and Music in the Park, a free gift from the Shoppe, invitations to exclusive member events, plus bonus tickets to share with friends. These members will help sustain Shakespeare Dallas's programming year-round. Membership starts at $150 for one person.
