 Shakespeare Lab

Are you a current 8-12 grade student in the DFW Metroplex?
Ready to take the stage at Shakespeare Dallas?

Shakespeare Dallas is thrilled to invite teens entering grades 8–12 to audition for Shakespeare Lab, a FREE 6-week summer intensive designed to inspire, train, and empower the next generation of artists. Students will work alongside professional theatre artists in a supportive, hands-on environment and experience the full journey of a professional production, from first rehearsal to live performance — all completely free of charge.

The program culminates in three fully staged Shakespeare in the Park performances under the stars at Samuell-Grand Amphitheatre as part of Shakespeare Dallas’ summer season. No prior experience is necessary — just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to jump in. Video auditions are now being accepted through May 23.

With your parents' permission, submit a 60-90 second video HERE of you reading or reciting
a monologue by May 23. Need a monologue? Click HERE for options.
