Performances of The Wedding Singer are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 3:00 pm for the first and third weekends of the run. The second weekend of the production has performances on Saturday at 7:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 3:00pm. Ticket prices are $27 for adults and $24 for seniors 60+ and students. About Runway Theatre:
Runway Theatre has been a vibrant creative home in Grapevine, Texas since 1983, when a small group of passionate volunteers came together to bring community theatre to life. Having recently celebrated its 40th season, Runway continues to be a place where artists, audiences, and volunteers connect through powerful storytelling and shared experience.
Founded as The End of the Runway Players, the organization established a permanent home on Dooley Street in 1985 and soon after became a nonprofit. Though the original space was lost to a fire in 1996, the community rallied to rebuild, allowing Runway to grow into the beloved theatre it is today — producing hundreds of plays and musicals that range from heartfelt dramas to high-energy comedies and show-stopping musicals.
After a 16-month closure during the COVID-19 pandemic, Runway reopened in 2021 with renewed dedication to its mission: to produce entertaining live theatre in an intimate, welcoming space. As Runway looks ahead to the next 40 seasons and beyond, it remains committed to being a welcoming space for creativity, collaboration, and connection.
