Dallas, Texas – September 24, 2026 – Family Music Theatre is delighted to present Annie October 16-31, 2026 at the New Vida Center (3727 W Kiest Blvd, Dallas, TX). Featuring iconic songs like Tomorrow, Maybe, and It’s the Hard Knock Life, this beloved Broadway classic is packed with energetic dance numbers, memorable characters, and timeless messages about resilience, kindness, and chosen family.
Set in 1930s New York City, Annie follows the story of a spirited young orphan determined to find the family she’s always dreamed of. Armed with endless optimism, Annie escapes the gloomy orphanage run by the hilarious and hard-hearted Miss Hannigan and unexpectedly finds herself stepping into the world of billionaire Oliver Warbucks. What begins as a temporary holiday arrangement quickly turns into a life-changing adventure full of heart, humor, and hope.
Family Music Theatre’s production brings this treasured musical to life with dazzling performances, heartfelt storytelling, and fun for audiences of all ages. Whether you’re revisiting a childhood favorite or experiencing it for the first time, Annie is a joyful theatrical event the whole family will love.
This production, directed by Liz McWhorter, has a two hour run time and is rated G. The three-week run includes performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and a Saturday matinee at 1:30 pm. Tickets cost $15 for kids and seniors and $20 for adults.

The cast of Annie includes Karis Barr as Annie, Sean Spoelstra as Oliver Warbuck, Rebekah Welser as Grace Farrell, Kim Harris as Miss Hannigan, Jacob Zufelt as Rooster Hannigan, Melissa Draper as Lily St. Regis, Apollo York-Hudson as Sandy, Dan Collum as President Franklin D. Roosevelt/Bert Healy, Jeffry Balthrop as Drake, Mabry Marchbanks as Star-to-Be, and Kylee Collum, Peyton Haynes, Victoria Gomez, Malia Johnson, Autumn Weaver, and Elizabeth Gillespy as the Orphans.
